This is a micro lesson I made about resources available to independent researchers. Finding free articles that are current is a challenge for any scholar not associated with an academic institution. Please watch on YouTube if it doesn’t load.
Red
In-classroom lecture about the sources of natural red pigments and dyes. This was part of a very robust 4000 level college course I built on the history, science, and theories of color. During the lecture dried insects were reconstituted and mineral specimens were examined.
Micro learning
Training presentation about 2nd wave Millennials and micro learning. Exercises included breaking down a task drawn from a hat and discussing content delivery methods. A game was played at the end to assess the learning of the participants.
ZOIE'S PLACE
Donated presentation for Zoie's Place fundraising event. This was designed with images supplied by the organization. I created numerous timings for this one so as to attract donors' attention.
I have experience with Vyond animation videos. The tool can be especially helpful for piloting and quick iteration training materials.
